Bicycle Day

This is a wonderful annual event at Kingfisher!  Everyone brings a bike, trike, or scooter along with helmets and we ride, ride, ride.  We will have normal classes in the morning and bike day starts at noon.  Little guys may ride around the parking lot--maybe riding around a simple obstacle course. Medium guys may go over to Brownwood and set up an obstacle course and some games on the basketball court. Middle schoolers bring their bikes and go ride around at Glenwood Park, maybe stopping for a treat at the coffee shop over there. Little guys will have popsycles after riding around and medium-sized kids can buy ice cream treats at Zestos after riding around for an hour or two.  This riding day is strictly for fun--no crazy competitions, just a sunny day and our bikes.  Everyone takes loads of pictures and sometimes we decorate our bikes for beauty--we'll see where everyone's interest lies this year.  Parents, be prepared to bring and pick up bikes at the end of the day.  (We don't have storage.) Bus-riders will work out the bike delivery with Miss Debbie.
