We'll take the Kingfisher bus to Indian Springs State Park as a joint social studies and science field trip.  While at the park, we'll explore the woods and learn about the wildlife and water resources in the park.  We'll also sample the spring water and learn how important this site was to the Creek Indians and others.  We'll have a picnic lunch and have some time to wade in the creek before returning to school.

Students must bring a lunch, water bottle, good walking shoes, other shoes for wading, a change of clothes, and sunscreen.  They also may want to bring snacks for the bus, a sun hat, insect repellant, or binoculars.

Permission forms will be sent home for parents to sign in Friday folders on August 28.  No student may participate in the trip without a signed form.
