Grading Contract for Writing Workshop - MS 2 (1st Quarter)
Grades are based on–1. Completion of assignments 50%2. Completion of journal entries 10%3. Three published revisions (graded) 30%4. Spelling tests

Here is how I will calculate your grade:
To earn an A in this area, you must do the following:
1. G Complete all assignments and revisions.
G Submit a revised writing for each publication.
G Turn in all assignments, etc. on the due date.
G Participate actively in class.
2, Here are the requirements for this grade.
G Once journal writing is introduced, turn in a total of six writings every two weeks.
G The writing entry is at least a half-page long.
3. Here are the requirements for this grade.
G You will receive the average of these three grades.
4. Here are the requirements for this grade.
G You will receive the average of these eight tests.
I will assign a grade for each of the four areas, weigh them according to the scale above, and average them for a final grade.
Grades Assigned for this course.
A = 100-90
B+ = 89-85
B = 84-80
C+ = 79-75
C = 74-70
D = 69-60
F = 59-0
